The amounts below are the high legal maximum rates for a regular Dutch metered street taxi. This is explicitly not our price list: Taxiritje.nl does not apply these meter rates. With us, you calculate one fixed total for your own journey in advance.

Government maximum rates — not our prices

These are the national maximum rates published by the Dutch government, effective from 1 January 2026. Distance and time accumulate together during a metered ride. Taxiritje.nl does not use this rate card; use our calculator below for your fixed fare.

How do I see the rate for my taxi ride?

Enter your pick-up address, destination and journey details. You then see one fixed total for the selected ride, with no separate pick-up fee added afterwards.

Does Taxiritje.nl charge a public kilometre rate?

You book a complete journey rather than separate kilometres. The calculator shows the final total for your own route in advance.

Is there a night or weekend rate?

No. The rate is the same 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including public holidays.

Are rates different in other cities?

For every ride, the calculator shows a fixed total in advance based on the entered route and journey details.

What costs come on top of the rate?

Only choices you make yourself: a minibus for 5 to 8 passengers, an extra stop or a ride abroad. Luggage, tolls and parking are already included.
