Taxiritje.nl is a Dutch taxi service you book online at a fixed price that is set before you book. We connect travellers directly with professional, licensed taxi drivers and drive throughout the Netherlands, address to address, including every airport.
What we do
Through our website you book a taxi for airport transfers, journeys between towns, business travel and group transport for up to eight passengers. The ride is performed by an affiliated professional carrier from our network, with the required Dutch taxi licences and insurance.
The idea behind Taxiritje: one fixed price per route
Taxiritje.nl started from a simple frustration: when you take a taxi, you rarely know in advance what it will cost. The same distance can cost more one day than the next because of traffic, a different route or a different company's rates. We wanted to do it differently.
Our principle is that a route has a fixed price that stays the same. From your town to Schiphol, from Rotterdam to The Hague or from your village to the station: you see one amount, and it is the same next week, next month and on a busy Friday afternoon. As a customer you always know that this ride, from this place to that place, simply costs a fixed amount.
The fixed price is per taxi, not per person, and includes VAT, luggage, tolls and terminal parking. Traffic jams and diversions do not change it — the risk on the road is ours, not yours.
It is fair for drivers too: they see in advance what a ride pays and choose which rides they take. Clarity on both sides keeps the same drivers coming back, which keeps the service reliable.
All rides are carried out by licensed operators and drivers holding a Dutch taxi pass, in line with the Dutch government's taxi rules (rijksoverheid.nl/onderwerpen/taxi) and the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ilent.nl).

Quality and safety
Driver documents are verified before anyone can accept a ride, customers can leave a review after every journey, and complaints are recorded and followed up internally. Repeated or serious shortcomings lead to a warning, suspension or termination of a driver account.
