Travelling with reduced mobility

When walking is difficult, the distance between the door and the vehicle matters more than the journey itself. Door-to-door travel removes exactly that problem.

It is equally important to be clear about what we do not offer, so nobody is caught out on the day.

What we can do

  • Pick you up at the door and help you to and from the car.
  • Carry a folding wheelchair, rollator or walking frame in the boot.
  • Assign a car with a higher seat when you ask for one.
  • Take a companion along at no extra cost; the price is per car.
  • Drop you at a specific hospital or terminal entrance.

What we do not offer

We do not operate specialised wheelchair-accessible vehicles for passengers who remain seated in their wheelchair, and our drivers are not trained to lift passengers. For those needs, contracted medical transport is the right service.

Booking with support in mind

  • Say in the comments what help you need at the door.
  • Mention any aid you are bringing and its folded size.
  • Add extra time so nothing has to be rushed.
  • Give a mobile number the driver can call on arrival.
