Travelling as a group
Group travel goes wrong in the details: three pick-up addresses, one person running late, and luggage that does not fit the car that turned up.
A little planning turns it into the cheapest and easiest way to travel.
One minibus or two cars?

Keeping it simple
- Use one pick-up address; extra stops lengthen the route and the price.
- Nominate one person as the contact for the driver.
- Agree a meeting time 10 minutes before the pick-up.
- Count the luggage honestly before you book.
- Book at least three days ahead for a minibus.
Cost per person
Because the price covers the vehicle, dividing it by the number of passengers usually produces a figure well below individual train tickets for the same journey — and everyone arrives together, at the same moment, at the same door.
