To the airport with a lot of luggage
Luggage is the single most common reason a carefully planned journey falls apart. A saloon car takes about three large suitcases comfortably; beyond that, you need a bigger vehicle, not optimism.

Special luggage
- Skis and snowboards: long items that need a minibus or estate.
- Golf clubs: one bag fits an estate; two or more need a minibus.
- Bicycles: only in a minibus, and usually partly dismantled — ask first.
- Musical instruments: tell us the size so we plan safe space.
- A folding wheelchair or rollator travels in the boot.
Booking with luggage in mind
The booking form asks separately for large suitcases and smaller bags. Be honest with the numbers: if you enter four or more large suitcases, or six or more smaller items, we automatically plan a minibus. Under-reporting luggage is the one thing that can genuinely put a ride at risk on the day.
