Taxi to a stadium or event
Events break the normal rules of a city: roads close, public transport is packed, and thousands of people want to leave at exactly the same moment.
Planning the ride home before the event starts is the single best decision you can make.

Arriving
- Allow 30–60 extra minutes for event traffic and closures.
- Expect a drop-off at a designated point rather than the entrance itself.
- Give us the venue name and the nearest street, so the driver knows the plan.
- Travelling as a group? A minibus takes up to eight for one fixed price.
Getting home again
Book the return leg in advance and agree a pick-up point away from the main exit, ideally a named street a few minutes' walk from the crowd. That single choice turns a 45-minute wait into a five-minute one.
If the event overruns, call the driver on the number in your confirmation; short delays are usually easy to absorb.
Groups and safety
- One fixed price per vehicle, however you split it between you.
- Nobody has to stay sober to drive.
- A minibus keeps the group together, so nobody is left behind.
- The same rate applies late at night as during the day.
