Taxi to a hospital appointment
A hospital visit is stressful enough without worrying about parking, a long walk from a garage or a bus that only runs once an hour.
A taxi at a fixed price drops you at the right entrance and, if you want, is waiting again when you come out.
Planning your journey
- Arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time.
- Tell us which entrance or department; large hospitals have several.
- Allow extra time in rush hour, especially around city hospitals.
- Book the return journey too if you know roughly when you will be done.
Mobility aids and support
- A folding wheelchair, rollator or walking frame travels in the boot.
- Mention it when booking so we plan a car with enough space.
- A companion travels with you at no extra cost; the price is per car.
- The driver can help with the walk to the entrance.
Costs and invoicing
The price is fixed before you travel, so you know the amount in advance and can submit it for reimbursement if your insurer covers medical transport. A VAT invoice is available in your account. We are not a contracted medical transport provider; check with your insurer whether your policy reimburses ordinary taxi travel.
