How far in advance should you book a taxi?
Booking earlier does not cost more with a fixed price, so the only question is how much notice each type of journey genuinely needs.

Recommended notice
| Journey | Book at least |
|---|---|
| City or regional ride | Same day is usually fine |
| Airport transfer | 24 hours |
| Night ride (00:00–06:00) | 48 hours |
| Minibus for a group | 3 days |
| Ride to Belgium or Germany | 3 days |
| Public holiday or event day | 1 week |
Why earlier is better
- More drivers available, especially at night and in rural areas.
- You can still change or cancel yourself up to 24 hours ahead.
- The right vehicle can be planned for your luggage and group.
- One thing fewer to think about the week you travel.
Last-minute bookings
You can book close to departure and it often works, but availability is not guaranteed — particularly for minibuses, night pick-ups and rural addresses. If you are within a couple of hours of travelling, call +31 85 060 7086 rather than relying on the form.
